TXP1000 CHIP

The TXP1000 family of PCIe plug-in cards is designed to provide direct offload of host CPUs for high channel density video and voice transcoding applications. The TXP1000 cards use Octasic’s Vocallo MGW Digital Signal Processors (DSP) and media processing software stack to provide an easy to use and very low power accelerator card in a PCI Express form factor.

TXP1000 cards support H.264, H.263 and MPEG4 video CODECs with dynamic bit rate control, real time image resizing and frame rate adaption. Supported video quality functionality includes packet loss concealment and a multichannel video mixing, graphics overlay and alpha blending engine. Backed up by a large portfolio of audio CODECs and voice quality enhancement functions, TXP1000 cards provide a complete toolkit for building video-based communications systems.

Applications for TXP1000 cards include media transcoding, web to mobile video delivery, IVVR (Interactive Voice & Video Response), multimedia and video messaging, mobile video conferencing and IP based voice and video telephony gateway systems.

Features

Partners

Sangoma

Sangoma has partnered with Octasic for their D100 card. Available in PCI and PCI Express form factors, the D100 card allows to convert numerous simultaneous channels of voice communication from one type of codec (e.g. G.711) to another (e.g. G.729), without affecting latency or using up precious host CPU resources. The card allows to run 30, 90, 120, 240 or 480 channels of any-to-any voice codec conversion, with unmatched quality.

Radvision

Octasic is partnership with RADVISION to enhance delivery of Octasic’s a complete gateway solution for the fast-growing mobile video market. The inclusion of RADVISION’s 3G-324M stacks allows Octasic to meet current needs for 3G handset users, and further increases the spectrum of mobile video services its Vocallo MGW solution supports.
