Founders
Thomas Awad and Martin Laurence co-founded Octasic in 1998. They have collaborated in the design and execution of ASICs destined to transport voice applications in packet environments for over fifteen years. Currently, Mr. Awad is Director of ASIC Development and is responsible for the technology vision at Octasic and Mr. Laurence is working on advanced technology projects. Previous to Octasic, Mr. Awad and Mr. Laurence were ASIC designers with InnoMediaLogic (IML).
