Octasic's OCT9400 Series of modules for VoIP/VoATM designs provides low-cost, scalable solutions for carrier-class and enterprise systems. The OCT9400 Series offers densities up to 672 voice channels with 128 ms tail echo cancellation on all channels. In addition, these modules are designed with an array of DSPs for low bit-rate compression such as G.729AB. Advanced features include conferencing, caller ID generation and fax relay as well as tone detection and generation.

The OCT9400 is especially suited as a plug-in module for carrier-class systems that require the latest voice processing technology. Each OCT9400 module offers complete media gateway functionality, controlled using MGCP/MEGACO or via the Octasic OCT9400 API. With features fully enabled at power-up, the OCT9400 is an autonomous addition to an OEM solution.
